Where I live and work in Crowcombe
I work from my home just outside of the small village of Crowcombe, Somerset. The first record of the village is in 854 AD and the church dates from the C13th. It is a picturesque village sitting beneath the Saxon road that travels along the Quantocks. I find the small village to be very community minded, it comprises individuals who have been born and raised here as well as more recent arrivals like myself and my family. We have found it to be a very welcoming place and we have quickly felt at home here.
My house is situated on Flaxpool Hill with beautiful views of the Quantocks and we regularly get pheasants and deer in our garden. We are in a calm and tranquil setting and I hope that you will enjoy the greenery that you can see from my office window. I have always found that looking out over plants and trees is relaxing and good for the soul. I hope that you will enjoy having counselling sessions here as much as I enjoy providing them.
Flaxpool Hill is on the a358 about halfway between Taunton and Minehead. My house is easily accessible while being set back from the main road which ensures that sessions are rarely, if ever, disturbed by outside noise. I will provide more detailed directions when you book your first appointment.
The name of my house, Summerland is meant to reflect its idyllic setting. My house is a converted barn just past a beautiful thatch cottage, to reach it you follow the driveway over a small stream and into a gravel courtyard.
