More about me

I received a BAHons from Bristol University in comparative religions. I completed my dissertation on mysticism. I have been fortunate enough to teach English as a foreign language in Peru and I have travelled through India where I was able to stay in several ashrams and receive a hug from Mata Amritanandamayi, known as Amma the hugging saint. I have been very interested in Buddhism, Hinduism, mysticism and various magical systems associated with different parts of the world. I have been a member of the Oxford Pagan circle and been privileged enough to participate in magical courses there. I helped set up my own business with a friend doing gardening and waste removal before handing it over to others to continue. Before finding my calling as a counsellor, I worked as a carer and as a support worker assisting individuals at risk of homelessness and with addiction issues. I completed my placement hours for an organisation helping individuals with addiction issues.

I was married in 2016 and I have two children. I found becoming a parent to be a huge motivator in my own personal growth and my role as a father has brought me endless joy, and some stress.

In 2023 I moved from Trelewis on the edge of the valleys in Wales to my current home in Crowcombe, Somerset where I intend to spend the rest of my days. I love the mix of hills, fields and forests in Somerset which make it, to my mind, one of the most beautiful places in the world.

I have experiences first hand the benefits that counselling can provide and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to accompany others on the same journey.
